ABW's Night trek to Naneghat on 9th February 2014

Hello Wanderers,
We are glad to invite you for Night Trek to Naneghat on 9th February 2014.




General Information:
Naneghat is a mountain pass in the Western ghats range near Junnar in Pune. During the reign of the Satvahana (200 BCE–190 CE), the pass was extensively used as a trade route between Kalyan and Junnar. Literally, the name nane means "coin" and ghat means "pass". The name is given because this path was used as a tollbooth to collect toll from traders crossing the hills.


Meeting Point:

Kalyan bus depot 8 PM on 8th February 2014 (Please be on time)


Expenses:
Rs 400/- per head which includes
- Traveling from Kalyan to Kalyan
- breakfast and tea.
- Full fledged support of our experts with all required equipments.

Registration:

Things to Carry:
  1. Good Torch (MUST)
  2. Please carry 3 litres of water.
  3. Please carry some bedding (sleeping bag/shawl) and as we will be taking some rest after reaching base.
