Aberrant Wanderers: Mysterious Roopkund Trek with Aberrant Wanderers on 30th June

Hello Wanderers,
We are extremely Happy to invite you our first Himalayan Trek. We will be exploring Mysterious Roopkund lake on 30th June - 6th July 2013

Roopkund is mystery lake at the height of 15,500 ft and this is one of the most scenic, mysterious trek in Garhwal himalaya. Deep virgin forests, ultimate campsites, miles of undulating meadows, snow and ice, and the taste of a great adventure as you climb from 8,000 ft to 15,500 ft. We get to see some human skeleton around this lake. Whose skeleton is this? What is the story behind it? To know all these things, Why don't you join us to explore this mysterious place?

Trek Details:

30th June: Traveling Kathgodam to Lohajung. Reach Lohajung by 5/6 pm.

1st July: Trek will start at 8am and target will be to reach Didina by 2pm.

2nd July:Trek will start at 8 am and target will be reach Bedni Bugyal at least by 3:30pm.
We will cross challenining Tolpani jungle, Ali bugyal and finally Bedni Bugyal.

3rd July: Trek will start at 7am and target will be to reach Bhagwabasa at least by 3 pm.
We will cross Bedni Kund(Origin of Neel Ganga river), Ghora lotani, Patal Nachauni and Kalu viniyak.

4th July:Trek will start around 5:45 to 6am. Summit Roopkund and come back at Bhagwabasa. Breakfast and get ready for descending to Bedni Bugyal.
Reach Bedni Bugyal by 3/4pm and lunch.

5th July:Trek will start around 8 am and we will descend to Van.
There will be vehicle over there to drop us back to Lohajung till lunch time.

6th July: Traveling from Lohajung to Kathgodam. Reach Kathgodam by 5/6 pm.

NOTE:

Candidate need to reach Kathgodam by 30th June 2013 early morning (at least by 7am).
Trek costs is from Lohajung to Lohajung. For to and fro journey of Kathgodam-Lohajung, vehicle will be arranged for group but everyone have to bear their own traveling cost.
More detailed instructions about what to carry and all will be sent to you three weeks before the trek.
